Making decisions on finishes can be tough, but for this mother and daughter, they looked to the local area of their Maitland granny flat for inspiration. This resulted in a brown brick exterior, with a modern white mortar.
The floorplan of the brick granny flat was a custom design, to fit the space available on the site, and to suit its locality with a street frontage. The granny flat is located next to the existing main dwelling, with the daughter living in the main house.
